You are invited to a summer STEAM Playdate! We'll spend the first hour playing and getting to know each other through hands-on activities you can do from your own home! In the second hour, we will look at how to bring PLAY and STEAM to young people this summer through synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences that are fun and engaging.
For this PLAYdate you will need to bring:
- A playful mindset (we're Youth Workers, we got this!)
- Any art materials you may have handy (examples: cardbox box, something to cut with, colorful writing utensils, etc)
- A favorite activity you like to do with young people and hope to transfer into the virtual world
