DHSP Summer Training Intensive 2020

Learn how to connect virtually with CPS students attending your program this summer through Google Classroom and other G-Suite apps for Education being made available to DHSP by CPS.  All CPS students in grades 3-12 (and any family in lower grades that need one as well) will have their Chromebooks for the entire summer.  Through the CPS Google-Suite, summer program staff can directly support and connect with students on a secure and protected platform. Google Classroom can be used as a virtual classroom, and to streamline the process of sharing files, information and alerts between programs and their youth.  Using a “train-the-trainer” approach, this workshop will train lead OST program staff who will then be able train/support their teams.  Required: workshop participants should join the workshop using a laptop or desktop as Google advises that these devices (not hand-held devices) should be used when using Google Classroom.
